Well, since I do not have Vista installed nor I'm planning to install, I had not known it until you wrote me.
Can you send me some screenshots or descriptions of what seems to be wrong so I can at least suspect what can be wrong?

I think it doesn't acces in the good way the splitter, as the frame numbers displayed in the bottom bar are some 123,3588984578347, same like when trying to play an unsupported file (like MKV). The rest seems to be functional, but if it does not display correctly the frames, the rest can't be used, nor tested.

Sorry for double post but attaching a jpeg ended up with an empty page and the forum didn't let me edit my own message. I don't have the right to do that blink.gif

LE: now I can edit rolleyes.gif

EDIT: merged

That is something I can hardly fix... did you try opening other files like mpg or any other?

you should be able to post image, duno what happened you have to press browse, select the file, and then press Add This Attachment... wait a while till it's uploaded and then you can press Add into Post if you want or leave it under the message. Only then you should hit Add Reply). Or you can upload the picture to some free image hosting and link it in your reply.

testing attaching an image:

MPEG files do the same. Even if MPEG1 files are handled by quartz.dll and MPEG2 by Elecard package. Under Vista didn't managed to attach an image (anyhow, the site is slow as hell) but managed to do that:

nah, don't use megaupload, it asks me to install some toolbar if I want to download. Use rapidshare or for images imageshack.

It's a video about 45 mins @ 23,976 that will be around 64-65000 frames

62.976 to be more precise

Once again. Previous post came from my laptop, using XP pro. After loggin from Vista, I don't have an Edit button, so must add a reply.
If I FF the video file using the slider, the number of frames showed it's 2600. The length of the file, as reported by BSPlayer is 43:51 = 2631 seconds. Could this be the answer ?
Still the total number of frames for the video it's 0.

OK, so, if I close ST forum and open again, I can't edit my own post. That's clear now.
Second. If you let the file play, at the end you have exactly 2631,35772 frames (in fact now it's obvious that it's seconds number and not frames).
Same thing, as I've mentioned before, happens under XP when playing MP4 and MKV files with ST. Using Gabest splitters, if that has any relevance.

Other bug found meanwhile. There is no support for specific chars. If any relevance, same is Yahoo messenger.

I have included a fix for Vista and Windows7 problem. Visit the Subtitles Translator homepage for more info.

Once you try it, please let me know, whether it's working or not.

Something isn't right. After uninstalling ocx under 7, ST does not work anymore (worked with decimal framenumers, but worked)

Yes, the same happens in Vista. But once I reinstall the OCX, ST is working again.
Anyway, from feedback I have, the fix is useless in Windows7.

My mistake, the file I was using was broken. With or without the ocx, under 7 there is no difference.
