Some help would be apprecciated.

I have subs in english (srt) and a translation in pt, the problem is that both are syncronyse to a xvid version, with framete 23.976.

The video is in 25.000.

I think the only way is to go scene by scene, delaying or forwarding the times of the lines, so tha it can be good.

It is a colossal job, and I would appreciate if anyone as any other iddea to do it.

(ps: please forgive my ba English)

Thankyou

mironto
Yes, you could do it frame by frame, but how about importing the srt into subitles translator and select 23.976fps?
Or you can change the framerate after the import through Edit->Renumber subtitles... and the go to tab Change framerate.

Did not work.

In fact I think I am doing it in the proper manner:
1. Import subtitles normally to thetranslator
2. Edit ; Renumber Frame Numbers ; Change Framerate
3. The cange is done to 25.000
4. Seeing the xvid + the subs the situation stands

Any way thank you for your kind help.

There I go to scene by scene with the Bsplater subtitle editor, whicho I think works grate, thow is a big job.

Maybe the subtitles you've got aren't timed properly for the version of the movie you have? Try searching for other version of the subtitles on main subtitles sites like opensubtitles.org which are already converted to 25fps.
