Hi, here I will powt about two bugs, one I encountered miself, one from a frend.
1. MPEG2 file, playing OK on every media player. But, when loaded in ST, sometimes counter starts from last frame and goes beyond, where is no movie, sometimes work OK. On same file.
ST 1.71, Elecard MPEG2 decoder

2. AVI file, playing ok on media players, playing OK on ST, but frame counter don't start at all.
Some help would be apreciated.
ST 1.71, DIvX 5.05 pro

It's hard ta say what the problem may be... I'm not sure mpeg2 files are compatible with WMP using frames as timecode. best way to make this work is convert mpeg2 file to dummy avi file (DVD2AVI->VFAPI) and then multiplex audio into the avi.

for the other bug, there's nothing for me to do with it, since you provided too little information... maybe a sample from the movie or soem more info from gspot about the avi would help?

Worked OK with MPEG2 files, using same MPEG2 decoder (elecard) based on fps, on older releases of ST. Just 1.71 gives those errors.

well, I don't really use mpeg2 files in ST so I cannot test it (nor really want to test it, since I pretty much don't care tongue.gif ). I didn't do any changes it that part of code as far as I can remember so there shouldn't be any differences in handling mpeg2 files in 1.71 and older versions.
